Weekday Preschool
Children love going to school at First Baptist of Locust Grove. Our teachers make learning fun. Children develop motor skills and learn basic academic skills. They learn that God loves them and made them special. They learn to share, follow directions and get along with others.
Our days begin with center time followed by circle time. The teacher plans age-appropriate learning activities during instructional time. There is a snack time and a play time. We incorporate music and exercise into our activities.
Each week, our three and four year olds go to chapel. Our Minister of Music sings with them and our Children's Minister tells the Bible story, leads the pledge and has prayer time.
We have special activities throughout the year which include a Fall Festival (this is free- not a fund-raiser,)seasonal parties, school pictures, field trips, and graduation for our four-year olds.
Registration for the 2010-2011 school year begins February 22, 2010.
Our classes are as follows:
2 year olds- Wednesday & Thursday- $85.00 per month
3 year olds- Tuesday-Thursday- $105.00 per month
4 year olds- Monday-Thursday- $125.00 per month
There is a $75 registration fee per family. There is a 10% discount for the second child in one family and 15% for each additional child. All classes are from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
